While working in Thailand Joe created a four part series on the Mekong River and a one-hour special on elephants in the Kingdom of Thailand produced through Infocus Asia for Animal Planet International.
“Kingdom of the Elephants” (1x60) is a coming-of-age story about a young female mahout in the remote forests of Western Thailand along the Thai / Burmese border. The documentary explores the extraordinary bond between elephants and people in the Kingdom of Thailand.
